The Metropole Orchestra's subsidy was under threat. To let the Dutch public show its support we organized an 8 hour long, crowd-composed concert. We connected a piano to Twitter, enabling people to create 140 character compositions based on the letters associated with notes. The best were immediately arranged and played by the orchestra.
